If anyone in this modern world has made Asom and Assamese culture more penetrated and reached to further heights , I guess without a doubt it is Mr. Narendra Modi, the Quintessential PM of this great nation called India .
Why so ??
The Gamucha (cotton towel) which the PM wears comes from Assamese Culture and it is a sense of high respect and dignity.
In each and every Minister's office; these days you will see a Jaapi (cultural heritage) which is again from Assam and it is a sign of respect either .
The first AIIMS is a gift to the North East and particularly to Asom by the PM.
The first IIM of Asom and 2nd of North East to be built around in Kamrup district is again a testimony to the fact that he loves North East India a lot more .
The semi conductor hub of India to be led by Tatas , would be built around Jagiroad will give a tough competition to Taiwan which manufactures 70+ percentage semi conductor requirements of the world .
Assam's Rani Area will get a half dozen of manufacturing companies in the very near future.
4+ flyovers has been built around Guwahati itself in the last 10 yrs .
One world class cricket stadium ( Barsa para - ACA) is already there at Guwahati and one more would be built by next 2 yrs .
I guess now the whole world knows a lot more about Asom and of Assamese Culture than yester years .

Asom will grow further heights under his able leadership.
